ARTIST STATEMENT
BIO Peggy Jansson has been enamored by photography, starting with black and white in the 1970’s, and in recent years with the wonders of digital photography. With family living in New Orleans she has made many trips to that area spanning forty years documenting before and after hurricane Katrina. Recent yearly travel to New York has brought her to the World Trade Center site photographing the rebuilding of the site since 2006. Where ever her travels take her she always brings back that special image. Living on the beautiful Central Coast of California since 1971 has given her a wealth of photo opportunities.
